The collection, processing and use of personal data within the scope of www.berlin-sciences.com is only carried out for the purpose stated below and in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations: Communication with the ambassador on campaign content.

We collect personal data when you register as an ambassador for the Brain City campaign on Berlin Sciences. For the registration we need your name, institution, function, address, e-mail address, optional is the entry of a telephone number. On the site will be published only name, institution and function.

In addition to these personal details, you must provide the following information (required field):"What is your focus of research?","Since when do you live in Berlin","Your personal message for the science location Berlin" and "Why did you choose Berlin as the center of your life?". Optionally answers to the questions "From your point of view: What is so special about Berlin?" and "What are you doing in your spare time?" can be given.

This information is presented in the section "Our Ambassadors". Insofar as the data are marked as mandatory fields, the data must be entered, information in other data fields is voluntary.

Every time a user accesses a file and every time a file is called up, data are stored in a log file. The storage serves exclusively internal system-related and statistical purposes. In detail, the following data record is stored for each retrieval:
